  1. I have gotten several messages this week like "hey Ruth, remember the contents of your vote are secret, but whether or not you vote is public" and I'm like -- DO YOU FOLKS REALIZE THIS KIND OF SOUNDS LIKE A THREAT? It is also a bizarre message to receive.

      got a much nicer email today from the State of PA, letting me know they've received my ballot. So yeah, I'll make it extremely public that I voted but also FFS re-evaluate your goals here, folks. There is no good implication to your message.

        One was absolutely wild and sent me a "voting record" for my street, without house numbers or names... but it was just me and two random, unknown people (because redacted). Remind me, remind me what's at stake, offer concrete aid in getting to vote, or leave me alone.
