    Here's a bigger image itself, and a view of the back -- the back is made with a looser linen because I was quilting it by hand and I needed to be able to handle the heavier fabrics.

      The textiles come from my old clothes, my dead parents' clothes, my sister's clothes, my research partner's clothes, my friends' clothes, my church folks clothes, a random dishtowel or two that I thought were pretty.

        It's bound in material from a stained jean skirt -- I think I know who it's from but not 100% sure.

          The center of this one has a scrap of lace from my wedding dress, then remains of a red polka dot dress above it and one of my husband's dress shirts below.
