          1. Just uploaded a close-to-final draft of my promotion and tenure materials. I've got one more month to finalize all of this with some feedback, but these are what's going to my external reviewers, AFAIK, so... that's kind of a bit, big step. NEXT STEP: BUY WINE AND CHEEZ-ITS.

      on June 8, I promised myself a bottle of red wine, a pint of Haagen-das, and a box of white cheddar Cheez-its for finishing the dossier. since then, we had *gestures* all the Supreme Court decisions, my dog was diagnosed with cancer and had am amputation... just EVERYTHING.

            My tenure dossier bounced back to me today (as scheduled!) with minimal suggestions for revision, so I made a task list, did all that, and it's BACK OFF MY PLATE!
