    MCC was also founded as a mutual aid society to help Ukrainian Mennonites in 1920. They've been active in a lot more places since, but also in Ukraine. For example, 2017 story about their work in Eastern Ukraine: mcc.org/stories/midst-crisis-ukraine

      Anyway, if you're not sure about an aid group, this is one with ongoing ties. That said, it's religiously motivated so it might not be your cup of tea (but separate from Mennonite Mission Network).
