Very few articles go deeply into the maintenance of a library system. This one uses quarterly and annual reviews to talk about what it was like to implement and maintain Koha for 9 YEARS. Everyone wants to write about implementation, nobody about maintenance.On twitter.com

I really love that they went into quarterly and annual reviews, so the kinds of things they talk about range from "the network switches went bad" to "we needed to update because it turned out the database had a design flaw that was fixed in the next release" to...Permalink On twitter.com

"we had to tell the catalogers to stop being 'helpful'" My goal for the piece is to do interviews with people who maintain these systems and there are a handful of articles in my lit review which are great background and this is one of them.Permalink On twitter.com
