        1. I got to interview a dean emerita today about our old ILS, etc., and I wish I'd gotten into more detail in some ways. She started off as a cataloger but almost immediately became an automation librarian IN 1968!!! Led various automations for about 20 years.

        Alas the interview wasn't getting into significant detail about that and it'd been over 50 years so she didn't have those as ready to hand. But gosh I love asking questions!

    also fun -- I previously interviewed a different dean...I think also emerita?... anyway, she was a gov docs librarian here and then got involved in our automation project representing public services, etc.
